I am going to break down an interaction between a girl and me. We met online and progressed to SMS, before meeting in person. To protect her privacy, her name has been changed.

I had messaged Tiffany in one of the social networking websites. At first glance, I thought she was cute, and wanted to find out more about her. I didn’t come up with any interesting lines. Instead, I just messaged her, “Hey man. How’s it goin?”

For simplicity’s sake, I shall list out our message log, before going into my thoughts.

She: Gd…Workin now…at (Location)

I: You’re sneaking around to use the Internet, aren’t you?! Very good! I like your rebellious nature. I would so do that!

She: You sound like a Play boy! Hmmmm look like one too

One of the things that I learned since trying to fix my social self and lifestyle is frame. In laymen’s terms, it’s the strength of your personality. People who are the life of parties have strong personalities, so strong that they can suck you into their reality. You are living their world by then, not yours. Frame is what makes someone really stand out. It is also what allows them to navigate the social scene easily. More importantly, it is the main characteristic that will allow someone to get away with almost anything.

I do not profess to be an expert in online dating, but I remember those days when I did not dare to go out and meet women, and it was one of the things I tried and experimented around with. I noticed a couple of things that worked. So, for those guys who do not know how to meet women outside of your home, fret not. Online dating is a very viable solution.

What I am about to say here is purely based on experience; it might or might not work for you. I am still testing out some new stuff here and there, but I am pretty sure it will help anyone who wants to try online dating.

Girls are just bitches to me.

Can anyone identify with that line? I used to think like that. Girls would treat me really bad, despite me being the perennial nice guy. I mean, which girl would love a nice guy? You gotta be a jerk to get the chick. Right?

I remember the days when I thought girls loved money, looks, and bad boys. I encountered many of them. There were those who always talked about having me give them a treat, those who swooned over the masculine dudes who seemed like they hit the gym everyday, and those who just adored the dude who would kick your ass if you just said the wrong word to them. Hell, I even knew a girl who loved her boyfriend even though he hit her!

So it’s the girls right? There was nothing wrong with me at all. I mean, I am nothing but nice! Well, guess what? It was me!
